Pirates of the Caribbean Lego Wii Game

Yes, we are crazy for Lego's and Wii games in this house. With 3 boys ranging in ages 5-8 we get plenty of gaming in. We own the following Wii lego games already and play them frequently: Star Wars Lego the complete saga, Batman, and Indiana Jones.

You can imagine how excited 3 little boys were when Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Wii game came out. We had a chance to rent this over the weekend, and had a chance to spend countless hours playing it.

Much in the same style of its Lego games counterparts it had numerous levels and characters you had to unlock. Although the Wii Lego games have much of the same style and goals in mind; they all are unique and challenging in their own right.

What we really liked, was the split screen when you have 2 or more players; unlike some of the other Lego Wii games. There was still combined playing as players did need to work together in areas to achieve a goal. But when you have 3 boys with different ideas on where to go it was great for them to be able to explore a room without having to be right next to the other players.

This is a game we definitely plan to buy in the near future.

Similasan Children's Earache Relief

Wow, I was excited when I found out Similasan makes a children's earache relief drops. With 4 kids and ear infections coming out my "ears"; the drops the doctor prescribed was starting to cost me an arm and a leg.

These drops soothe and calm ear pain due to drafts, colds flu and swimmer ear(although not listed I have found them effective for ear infection pain, but dont use as a replacement for antibiotics). Plus they are safe for use with antibiotics.

Here at our house we are doing our best to eat healthy foods. It has been tough going for my junk food crew, but they have trying everything I have been putting in front of them.

Don't be fooled by the size of these pint size markers; they pack a big punch of colors. Crayola has yet again created a fun and creative marker for children.

These markers are half the size of a regular crayola marker. They have a variety of colors with fun names like petitie rose, leprechaun green and little boy blue. Crayola stays true to its word, these markers are actually washable; unlike other washable brand markers.

These tiny colors are perfect for helping young children as well as disabled children with their fine motor skills. Because of their size children will find it easier to hold on with a pencil like grasp instead of a whole hand grasp; thus improving their fine motor skills. My 8 year old autistic son struggles with his motor skills, but we have seen a great improvement since using the pip squeaks and he has fun doing it.

I have bought several packages for my 4 children, and definitely plan to buy again the future.
